I am an Associate Deputy Principal at Waimea College in sunny Nelson. This is my hometown and I have loved returning here to work and bring up my family. I have 3 children. 2 of them are students at Waimea and the oldest has been through the schooling system and is now down enjoying life at Otago University My teaching background is in Physical Education which leads to my passion for student and staff wellbeing.

I have really enjoyed the dynamic nature of my time in Senior Leadership. My goal for our region is to provide opportunities to connect and share good practice and to support each other in this challenging role.
